On a Moody Day

Been sick for the past few days - way to start 2013 but than at least I got a day off at work :). 

The weather/ sky sets the mood of my day very often, if not what I wear. But on a moody day like today I tend to go for something comfy but adds character. I miss Vancouver's sky. Sometimes I just enjoy staring at it and let my mind wander off which I find fairly hard to do in Hong Kong.

Let the Shopping Begin

 

Hope everyone had an awesome holiday! 

Surprisingly I only did some online shopping for boxing day sale, as it was way too crowded. Instead I just enjoyed a lovely Wednesday watching "Love Actually" (For the first time). I'm not sure why I haven't watched this earlier, it's such a good festive movie.

Here are some decent finds on Lane Crawford online:

1. T by Alexander Wang - Mini Jersey Skirt : An absolute must have in my wardrobe. The fit and design is so nice. Every girl needs a black fitted skirt and this is my favorite so far. I already own a ash grey one in a different material but I just couldn't resist purchasing a second one. It's just so simple and chic and it DOES NOT ride up - which tends to happen including my BCBG power skirts.

2.T by Alexander Wang - Boat-Neck mesh insert dress: Just felt like getting a little black dress :) Once again the fit is lovely and I love the small see through slit on the side and the back. Classic and Sexy.

I have a small collection of tea at work for the cold weather. Having a cup of hot tea is just so cozy and heart warming.

Love love love oversized sweaters for Winter, so easy to match and to grab in a hurry - Still in the hunt for one for this winter.

Back to some boyfriend jeans

Weathers been pretty gloomy lately, makes me wanna grab a hot chocolate or cappuccino just to warm up the day. Unfortunately where my office is located, there is no Starbucks, Pacific Coffee or anything of that sort.

It has been a slow month making my friend and I wanting to do something. We end up purchasing a Two-Hr Wine Appreciation, Etiquette & Food Matching Course at KEEPINTRAINING on Groupon yesterday and now I'm definitely looking forward to it. I've actually never been to one of these and was always somewhat interested/ curious.
